Project Details:
Eltham College is an independent day school, set in 175 acres part of which is the Eric Liddell Sports Centre. This includes a Gym, 25m Swimming Pool, Dance Studio as well as other key indoor and outdoor facilities.
As part of the sports centre’s refurbishment programme, we surveyed the site to determine the best design to suit the school’s building management needs.
Their existing panel was 20+ years old and so had undergone several modifications over time. This had left it in a poor state of repair and many components were beyond their life expectancy.
In addition, some of the new plant items required further alternations.
It was concluded that a complete replacement would be the most practical solution to encompass operational and health & safety requirements.
We designed and manufactured their new control panel in our workshop, with a Trend IQ4e controller and IQ View 4 HMI.
The control panel monitors and controls the heating and ventilation plant which was upgraded at the same time.
The result:
Eric Liddell Sports Centre and Parker Air Conditioning, were both happy with the outcome of the project.
