  BMS Controls Engineer Job

  Job Base:  Sidcup, Bexley

  Employment: Full time full-time position (40hrs p/w)

  An exciting opportunity to work on all aspects of designing, manufacturing and installing control systems, principally in the construction industry.

  About us: 

  Established in 1994 to provide services to other BMS companies, Magpie BMS simultaneously developed their own client base. We gained Trend Systems Integrator status in 1998 which transferred to being a Registered partner in 2022.

  We established our own panel workshop in 2010 and have been a NAPIT Approved electrical contractor from 2014.

  The services we provide are carried out In-House, giving us full control over timings and outcomes.

  We have our own panel workshop. Panel and Software Designs are prepared In- House and fully tested prior to shipping to site.

  We have many years of specialising in Controls and BMS work and efficient and neat working practices makes Magpie BMS Installations stand our from our competitor.

  Description:

  This role will be varied and will include:

  • Production of working schematics (MS Visio)
  • Assembly and wiring of control panels
  • Site installation of electrical systems

   

  The Candidate’s Requirements:

  • A Level 3 BTEC or First Degree in a technical subject would be an advantage but not essential
  • An understanding of electrical circuits
  • A good standard of report writing
  • A full driving licence would be beneficial
