Magpie BMS Services Ltd were contracted to provide design and installation services to Ardingly College at the new Beckett House for day pupils.
Ardingly College is an independent boarding and day school based in West Sussex. With the mantra ‘nobody excels at everything, but everyone can excel at something’ highlights the college’s purpose to find and develop skills for all pupils.
The Magpie team designed and installed a control system specific for the heating and ventilation plant serving the new Girls Day School. This involved the obtaining of information from OEM (original equipment manufacturer), in order to coordinate the overall control strategy of the building.
Additionally, per client specifications, the Magpie team wrote software interface with inclusion of the OEM controls in order to allow ease of use for the end user.
The design and installation project took place throughout March – September 2020, to the value of £55,000.
Since completion of works, the Beckett Day School has been able to launch and open its doors to its day-time pupils.
